In honor of the Spring and the budding and flowering trees, this session will focus on the physical sensations of being supported by the earth while practicing on our mats Ascending upward as we stretch and sway the body, we will experience standing firmly while bending and being flexible like a tree & its branches. Beginning with the strength situated in our root chakra, and guiding our breath up and out to release tension through movement, we will cultivate a mind-body connection that contributes to our resiliency. This practice will expand our window of tolerance through body mapping, yoga asanas (poses), breathwork, creating a Quote Collage, and journaling.
Open to all levels of yoga experience.
