A Balancing Act: Stress Reduction & Resilience w/ Sharyn Hahn

Students will learn how to cultivate stress management through an understanding of physiology and a focus on self awareness, and how to use specific yogic techniques that can help to reduce and release it. The mind-body connection and sensations will be explored using experiential and interactive exercises.

The ways in which breathwork reduces stress and down-regulates the nervous system will be introduced and practiced in order to experience first-hand how it can calm the mind, body, and spirit. We will delve into the connection of the emotions and stress and uncover how awareness can cultivate balance and a sense of well-being. Asana, visualization, prana, and mudras will be practiced along with journaling and intention-setting activities.

Open to all levels of yoga experience.
